I intend to list links to reputable sources of scientific or artistic information. If you think your site should be listed here, email me at: admin@skeletaldrawing.com

General Information on Dinosaurs:

Wyoming Paleontology Association - Good information, some by yours truly, but it still needs to grow.

Dinosauria On-Line - Many of the illustrations are innacurate, but the omnipedia is filled with lots of useful information.

Where to Dig Dinosaurs: I can recomend these dig sites because I have personal experience with them.

Wyoming Dinosaur Center - Located in Thermopolis, Wyoming (near Yellowstone), one of the best places for families to get their hands dirty and work on real dinosaurs.

Judith River Dinosaur Institute - Go here to dig Montanna dinosaurs.

Glenrock Paleontological Museum - Located in central Wyoming, this small town museum provides lots of personal attention.

Accurate PaleoArt: Too much paleoart is scientifically innacurate. Here are links to artists who do it right (note that a few exemplary artists do not have webpages, so they are not listed).

Donna Braginetz

Sean Cooper

John Gurche

Mark Hallett

David Krentz

Raul Martin

Charlie McGrady

Tony McVey

John Rader

Luis Rey

Michael Skrepnick

Gary Staab

Also, there are many amateur and professional paleoartists in the galleries of the new Dinosauricon. Not all of them are at the level of accuracy I'd like, but it is worth checking out.
