The science and art of paleontology
“The Master and “go-to” guy for skeletal reconstructions”
Scott Hartman’s detailed and rigorous skeletal reconstructions set the standard for sauropods: he’s now become the first port of call when looking for precise, anatomically correct work. I’ve used his reconstructions in my own papers (e.g. as the basis for the Brontomerus reconstruction in Taylor et al. 2011:fig. 1), and I’ll certainly do so again.
Paleontologist and paleoartist Scott Hartman provides a wealth of anatomical data and skeletal drawings of dinosaurs, and information on how prehistoric animals looked in life.
